The DNA of the Christian does not lie. Scripture tells us we are created anew in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Part of our new DNA demands gratitude. You can say, “Thanksgiving: it’s in our DNA.” Paul, the Apostle, wrote to rejoice in the Lord always, with thanksgiving, and to let our requests be known to God (Philippians 4:4-7). In Christ, we exist to magnify God through our thankfulness; thus, the Christian must be designed for thanksgiving.
