It's not always to let the light of Christ shine. Sometimes, we are persecuted, and the persecution doesn't come from outside the church; the strongest persecution comes from those who profess Christ.

Understand, Christ felt this same kind of persecution. The religious folks of Jesus' day were the ones who gave Him the most grief.  How did Jesus handle this? That's what we're considering today.
