On Resurrection Sunday, nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus appeared in a locked room to ten of His faithful followers. In eight days, Jesus would again do the same thing, only this time Thomas would also be present. Three times Jesus says: “Peace be with you.” (vs. 19, 21, & 26). Jesus' resurrection certainly gives the believer peace and confidence that our best days are always ahead, that there is hope beyond the cares of this world, and that death is only the beginning of something much more excellent.
