I was reading an article by Patreeya Prasertvit recently. She touched on the idea that Monday is often the most forgettable day and the most dreaded day of the week. She writes, “We prepare our hearts in anticipation of Easter…waiting for the discovery of an empty grave and a risen Savior. And then it comes. He comes! And then it’s Monday. The temptation is to treat Easter like it’s an ending…now it’s back to ‘normal life.’ But nothing was normal after Jesus.”
