Today's passage from Scripture provides instructions about what will happen to every person who believes in Christ after their physical death. Some church members in Corinth thought there was no resurrection. Paul explains that the resurrected body will be similar to the pre-death body in that it is like a seed that will grow into a much better body that God has planned for us.
